During the first 36 weeks do not use the following oils- cedar wood, clary sage, rosemary, juniper berry, thyme, jasmine, angelica root, pennyroyal, sage, aniseed, fennel and lemongrass.
The Second and Third Trimester
Cypress and peppermint can be added to your blend to help with circulation and prevent swelling of the legs and hips.
At 36 weeks
Start now preparing your body for labour. Use oils to stimulate circulation and relax the nervous system. Use warming oils such as black pepper, cinnamon leaf, rosemary and thyme in low dilutions.
Use lavender, chamomile, clary sage, and vetiver to calm and strengthen the nerves and also to help you sleep.

If you are expecting to have a caesarean section use a blend of lavender, tea tree and lemon with rosehip and caster oils on the area for 4 weeks prior to the birthdate.
Preparing for Conception
Certain oils can help increase fertility. Some work on the endocrine system to regulate production of reproductive hormones. Two ideal choices are rose geranium and rose essential oils. Roman chamomile and and clary sage are also helpful.
Angelica root oil is helpful to stimulate the uterus to clean out so that its lining is fresh for fertilization.
Pelvic circulation brings fresh blood with vital nutrients for conception and to take away waste from the area. Rosemary, cinnamon leaf, lemongrass, ylang ylang and cedarwood are some excellent ones.
The flower essence of she oak ( cassurina) is also useful.
Essential oils that help with male fertility are all the wood oils; especially cedarwood and rosewood.
